Moxa​
Moxa, short for "moxibustion," is a traditional Chinese medicine technique that involves the burning of dried mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) near or on specific acupuncture points or areas of the body. Moxibustion is used to stimulate and promote healing by applying heat and warmth to these points. It is helpful for pain syndromes, gynecological health and so much more.. Adding moxa to your Acupuncture visit based on your practitioner's recommendations. Moxa has also traditionally been used to turn a breech baby around when applied to a specific area.
